they can demonstrate fairly quickly how competent they were in picking up the oil assets at good prices.

by all accounts, their purchase of the quebec gas assets were also well timed and priced.

hopefully they will have that same opportunity again soon closer to home if they are able to pick up anglo's share of the queensland tenements at a good price.

it won't be long before we know, and not a moment too soon as it's almost a year since they originally thought the anglo sale would be complete.
