Imagine being an Argentinian based Lithium aspirant, you sack your CEO because you want to re-establish the head office for your business in the United States and wish to bring in a new US Based CEO

Then in a matter of weeks after pivoting your business, the United States releases the Inflation Reduction Act, which provides the basis to ignite the EV / Lithium-Ion Revolution in the United States and its free-trade partners

The Only Issue for said company is that your product is not mined or processed in the United States (Or its Free Trade Partners), hence your whole pivot to give your CEO the boot and setup a head office in the US is pretty much dead in the water before it even begins

Argentina does not have an agreement with the US and unlike companies such as Livent, who extract brine in Argentina (But process it into Hydroxide in the USA), your company is mining and processing in a jurisdiction that does not have a FTA with the US........... Yet you banked on breaking into the US market before the Inflation Reduction Act was released........ OH DEAR

Can any Baggy Tell me what the point of a US Based office is now ???
