I think we all came to the conclusion a long time ago that AAR were either very secretive or just not really good at promotion. The RIU Conference seems to highlight the latter. We are all still here despite knowing it was one or the other.

Why?

Most probably because we believe in what they have and we believe that they are more 'the quiet achievers' and just simply go about their business without a fuss and one day we will see true value for our shares from Koongie and over the longer term, Victoria River Downs.

We will achieve true value simply because the market won't ignore something the size of Koongie when it is on track to becoming an operating, profit making copper/zinc mine.

I have faith that Koongie will eventuate and I have faith that Feysville will provide some extra cashflow to help us along the way and I have faith that Victoria River Downs will provide smiles for those who are thinking an even longer timeframe.

I have doubts about the timing of cashflow versus capital expenditure and I have doubts about how they are going to fill the gap and raise the required funds and I have doubts about the timing of market recognition of our true worth.

I also have doubts if it will all fit in with my investment timeframe.

BUT

I am still here because I think my doubts are way overshadowed by my faith and the fundementals of their projects. I am still here because my belief that despite their ineptness at promotion, they have a plan and they are working hard to get that plan to succeed. I am still here because they, by virtue of having their best interests at heart, have our best interests at heart and won't sell the farm. I am still here because at some point in the near future it will all unfold beautifully for us all.

Dreaming? maybe? But I think there is more logic there than dreams and 2010 will be a very productive and profitable year for AAR and its shareholders.
