There is absolutely nothing stopping Lake from going back to the drawing board, scrapping their current business model and choosing to follow Livents footsteps by building a conversion plant in the US

Of course the process hasn't started, you need to secure your site, complete your feasibility work (Costs alot more to build a plant in the US, then it does in Argentina), you then need to start on the approvals pathway to get a permit in the US (No easy feat)

So sure, it could be done in time and for the right price

But has Lake announced any such plans ? Has Lake even hinted that they are prepared to scrap their current business model and start again

As I said earlier, you dont just get to make up what suits your agenda in a discussion forum. The company decides that, and Lake as we discuss today have no such plans to start again !
