They have everything to lose. If they take on Conroy, they will come off a very sick and sorry second best. That Australian newspaper article today paints a very bleak picture of the situation as far as Telstra is concerned. Once NBN Co Ltd is competing in the retail market against Telstra (especially in Govt related contratcs), Telstra's revenues will be on a ski slope.
