An interesting week, and despite the result from Friday was good to see the appreciation over the course of the week. What was particularly interesting was the strength in the buy side. I kept waiting for the inevitable dump from the bot, but wasn't quite
sure what they were up to this week.
The average parcel size was reasonably large with nothing under 12,000 - which generally indicates fewer bot trades. The numbers speak for themselves in terms of strength of the market, but having said that it was still not massive volume. I would characterise the week as sellers disappearing more than more buyers appearing - particularly good result when overlaid against the general market direction.
To me it feels like a week of genuine market forces rather than the manipulation of the professional market participants.
