A couple of other points.
Magnetic susceptibility and granites an example from the Paterson where granites are younger (4-500My) than in the Gascoyne.

The Mt Crofton suite of granites are magnetic the Minyari granites not. Note the shapes and rims in comparison to Lyon/LNR

Much of the area is under 20+m of cover which doesn't stop magnetics much, but gets very deep in the east so only a very strong response would show through (Havieron is one so far many of the others are magnetic gneisses and/or granites).
Some of the Mt Crofton granites outcrop but most will be mag interp with some early, limited Rab and or Aircore testing.

Kingfisher are locating REEs some 100Kms south of LNR.


KFM have defined carbonatites and mineralised carb. dykes plus mineralised clays. BT said they hadn't defined carbonatites at surface so I don't know how to reconcile that statement with the data transposed from KFM maps. Misunderstanding on my part probably.
If the REE bearing dykes are related to the interpreted (??mapped) carbonatites the distribution does NOT appear radial or obviously cone shaped. Another style or just too early to give a meaningful pattern?

The more geology one knows the more ways you can get your knickers in a twist with different conflicting models.

Storm in a teacup that is more for academics who will get the data after drilling and still debate. 80+ years and still going at Bayan Obo, Norilsk etc.
