4DS - Anything but Charting, page-25558

I do not know how long you have been involved with 4DS or how much you know in regards to the technology but I can assure you that they would not be buying a $300k - $400k test rig for testing sub 10nm chips or cells. I remember them saying that they spent around 2mil on a test rig and that to me at that time raised alarms as that would have been way to cheap as this sort of equipment is very complex and in turn very expensive to procure. It is not something that is off the shelf so to speak.
I doubt that IMEC would transfer their test equipment to 4DS. It just does not add up to me.
In regards NDA's protecting IP you have it wrong. NDA's have nothing to do with IP's. IP's protect the intellectual property of the design and or process. NDA's stop parties from communicating in any form from disclosing information in regards to the parties activities. IF we are under a true NDA with WD/HGST then I would say that there would have to be some form of contract and as such some form of financial input from both parties.
There would not be any conflict of interest as it would be a commercial deal and as such in respect to the BOD there can be representation on the BOD as a commercial interest party.
Over the last 5yrs plus I have I have not seen anything of substance from anyone outside of the company in regards to the development of the technology and I do not buy the fact that we under the NDA of WD/HGST.
Where are WD/HGST now in regards to helping us solve the issues we have? Where were they when we have had issues in the past? Has anyone seen any press release from WD/HGST in regards to 4DS and what they are doing with 4DS in the development of the tech? Any reference in regards to WD/HGST has come from 4DS!
To me it looks like to much Smoke and Cloak!
