It's far too early to judge the impact of rising rates on consumer spending - it's entirely reasonable to be cautious in regards to the environment moving forward. As noted by CBA in the AFR the 4 interest rate increases from May to August (excludes Sept 0.5%) won't fully hit the consumer until December due to the notification timeframes. The current half year will likely still be strong - it is the 2nd half that will reflect the full impact on consumer spending.
