On infrastructure, YES stimulus could have been better directed.

My favorite argument with my father-in-law (socialist) is precisely this. He loves the stimulus spending! And in concept so do I.

BUT

I would have spent it on revitalising the primary industries. Farming principally. I would fix the degraded lands on a mamoth scale. Improve capacity and productivity.

Educate farmers on better land management!

This creates longer term jobs that feeds the people. Sustainable.

Oh well, I guess this is where it get political. I had better stop with my rant.

Go gold/ cash hordes the time of asset devaluation is coming.
