My guess..

They have encountered a much thicker "pay" intercept than predicted, which has resulted in much better than expected flow rates...or they have discovered commercial "pay" in a previously dry level.

Either way, this would result in a substantial increase in previously calculated field reserves...and possibly even the drilling of additional development wells.

If so, it would be very good news.

As for the delay...there are all kinds of possible reasons for this, so no need to get to excited about it.
