Was incredibly stressful - grief for soninlaw and fear for
daughter and many other factors in between, but the old
strategy of "one day at a time" was how we all coped, and
trying not to think of the unthinkable. When one looks back,
you think, how did we all manage, as she sold her house and
came to live with us for a year, but after a few years she got
her life back together and regained her independence, and
has become much stronger and more appreciative of her life,
which I believe is a common theme with survivors.
