I bring your attention to a long article in the "Australian Business" section today; PP16. By Ticky Fullerton. It concerns the drive by Science Minister Ed Husic to advance the developement of quantum computing. It mentions the "lead position" that has been driven by Michelle Simons and her team. It goes on to discuss the work of CSIRO, and the former Trevor Pearcey who built one of the first digital computers in 1947 based on Turin's postulation that data and instructions (the Program) can be stored on the same contiguous media. The artical states that Simons and her team working at "Silicon Quantum Computing Pty" at UNSW have built the first working integrated circuit at the atomic scale!! It further says that we are leaders in QC. It then forwards Q-CTRL as much advanced in this area. And so it goes on for two column lengths of the page. There is no mention of AXE. Don't we exist in the eyes of the Government Science departments??? I have been in AXE since it was looking for graphite and through 2021 when the sp was over $2.00. and am wondering whether I should now dump my holding and move on. My problem is I am a big supporter of Australian industry and am reluctant to do this, I believe that we are trying to ride two horses at once with one jockey and we are going to slowly to nowhere!! We should spin off our bio-chip work and concentrate on QC......
