what you are saying holds for a pure play funds manager like magellan , platinum etc. with perpetual 1/3 of its earnings come from the stable trust divison. also i dont know the exact earnings breakdowns but it also has a big advisory and private wealth business....so it has more relative earnings stability vs a magellan etc. shorters are hammering the sp. as at yesterday 6.3% of ppt was short sold or 3.5m shares. cant eait for the ride up when they close . this is a very thinly traded stock
