All wireless technologies to date are shared medium to some extent with the associated limitations. Basically they don't scale well if everyone tries to get on at once.

I'm assuming of course network requirements include things like VOIP, IP television (i.e. replacement for analog cable TV), and other activities with high bandwidth and / or latency requirements.

OF course tech may improve but I anticipate wired tech to improve correspondingly and will always provide superior experience.
