there has been plenty of posts of people unable to invest in pls via their super fund because it wasn’t in top 200 or some such reason ask them how it worked out for them !unable to buy through their super fund when the sp was 20c because it didn’t fit their funds parameters or people wanting their fund to buy more pls in their account but the fund wouldn’t because it would take them over the allowed %
then Australian super selling heaps before the end of the financial year to get their figures for the year up

we as trustees in our SMSF can invest in any share in any percentage we wish. We just have to be able to justify the decision if the fund is audited by the tax office.

sorry it’s a bit disjointed but that’s what a few celebratory glasses of red on Friday arvo does
if you’re smart enough to have a SMSF then you’re probably smart enough to not bet the farm on one stock!
