I believe massive EU funding was coming regardless of what some automakers do. This boils down to the EU understanding that years of reckless globalist policies have left them in a vulnerable position and now they must act urgently by pumping money into the green transition. Whether or not a rapid transition from fossil fuels is an overall good thing, it definitely presents an outstanding investment opportunity.
