re: Ann: Sandfire Launches $50 Million Placem... i think entry into the asx300 etc is over-rated for companies on the fringe. If a fund is an index fund, which basically the majority are, it is too expensive for them to replicate the index in its entirity. The top 20 make up the majority of the top 200 weight, borderline companies do not attract alot of interest from index managers. The 200th company in the top 200 may represent only 0.05% (0.0005) of the index give or take.
That said the stock is definitely on the institutional radar, with $50M+ in the bank the drilling will ramp up. Interesting to note in the presentation the average VMS field contains 5m+ tonnes of metal, SFR only found 0.4M tonnes so far, so plenty of exploration potential.
