Towie, credit card receipt and tax invoice are totally different. Tax invoices are required to claim rebates on gst and other things. It also verifies that the purchase was for accomodation only. My company insists on invoices for the gst and to ensure we adhere to certain limits on meals and mini bar/sundries charges because we get certain allowances for our travel.
