The complexities are many, Zip - both political and environmental. Some countries will do what they can while others will not, but we can't not just because they cannot, or can't by virtue of poverty or half-witted dictatorships. As for the mite's, I'm only speculating as to their rise on the basis of CC, given weather and temperature affects habitats, ecosystems and fecundity. As for the targets of affluent countries I personally think we're way too late to have much of an effect on what is already set in motion, but if we don't make a start, and convince and assist other countries, then things will probably be much worse 100 years down the track for future generations; dystopian perhaps.
