here is my take on where our covid rat and Eugeni platform sit at the moment.
firstly we have missed the huge opportunity that covid presented for test manufacturers last and early this year. in hindsight looking at Ellume it mightn't have been the worse thing that could have happened to our Lifesciences division. Ellume rushing to market to catch this windfall experienced manufacturing problems without proper QA, product recall, huge customer dissatisfaction reviews with possible class actions and now Ellume Aust in receivership.
with Operon's manufacturing hiccups and quick rapid expansion with development and manufacturing, Anteo could easily be in the same position now. (all maybes but it would have been a good sp roller coaster to be on )
with covid testing now, IMO, testing in nursing homes, hospitals, clinics, before cruises etc will still be needed exactly where the Eugeni platform has be targeted. we still have a gold std test. haven't found a match to our Alfred results for Omicron detection "
Arm B also showed higher sensitivity (100.00%) up to positive results with Ct 25 and 4-7 days post onset of symptoms,"added to our covid test we have our multiplex covid/flu test and sepsis test which both seem to be progressing along the development cycle. we just recently had the Burnet inst, Alfred, St Vincents and Austin hospital collaboration with Anteo tech for a liver health test. I suspect we also have early testing of further tests to be added to the Eugeni platform.
any amount of tests we sell with a discussed possible $2-$5 profit still gives Anteotech a big rerate. with the interim report only needed for common list approval, we could be getting approval later this year, just in time for the Northern winter. we saw with the launch of our test in Romania with Eromekis that there is still interest in our test with our distributors.
also of interest is the possibility of government funding to support local manufacturing of RAT's. found this 22-23 pre budget health submission to the government - where should the money be spent? it was from greg hunt so from early this year. (2nd last page)

so opportunities are still there for our Eugeni platform, just to see if the new management can deliver !!!!
