I remember seeing that show.
My neighbour (spelling) went to hospital for a quad bypass, he advised his doctor that he was a non smoker but partook a bit of pot. His doctor said not to worry about that and told my neighbour of a lung transplant he had done. The lungs were green as the donor was a pot smoker for a long time. The doctor said that the new owner of the lungs had one of the best recoveries he had seen.
