This Optus hack has huge implications, but unfortunately govt still slow to act. Too little too late as always. 2 years ago business mandates were the chat. Now all of our sensitive data is gone to the highest bidder. Fallout for this one will be epic.
When will businesses be ACTUALLY held accountable for ridiculous lapses like this and be fined or penalised instead of just sending out a text or email saying sorry.
