They are in the sense that they can't target solid tumours well.
But with the CF33 virus going into the cancer and getting it to paint itself with CD19 expressing flags, then hopefully the CD19 targeting CARS will see renewed action in the much larger field of treating solid tumours as they've been very effective in liquid cancers.
