Just a waiting game now.
Grants start from Oct 22 to April 23 i am pretty sure (cant ve bothered find the government website atm).
Funds have to be dollar for dollar matched.
Cannot be for equipment etc already purchased and/or on order. (Possible reason we are still waiting on news on our third site as Novonix would be applying for the grant)
We have $200 million AUD on hand, so matching a grant would be easy, if the grant is higher than what we have, expect a strategic investment similar to P66 with either Samsung SDI, Sanyo or another cell manufacturer IMO.
They may still raise funds anyway, to then start scaling BTS division, Cathode Materials Division, Microgrid partnerships etc.
US grants were USD $100,000,000 minimum. So we will be set up nicely to meet the demand coming online from 2024 onwards for anode materials.
