The USD rose 21.2% since Oct 2021 whereas the gold price dropped 6.9% in USD. It has shown its strength. Gold price in many other currencies were making all time highs, for example, the British Pound and the Japanese Yen. NST hedged its gold at 2,200 AUD and 2,400 AUD and the spot price is 2,528 AUD. I wouldn't say that's a mistake. In 2024/2025, The U.S will be back to Donald Trump's hands. The democrats will not be able to manipulate the data like they are doing it now (no recession, low inflation, good job market etc). We will see a much higher gold price and silver price.
