Ok so when you say:
"I have done a 65 hour week and got paid about half of that on Metro EBA rates"
you are perhaps not comparing apples with apples, that is to say there is NO relationship to wages on a metro building site and wages on a "remote" construction site.
To be clear a welder working on an offshore oil platform would expect and receive a good deal more than a welder on a metro building site. Would you agree?
