For anyone that is interested. Just generalising how this looks moving forward.

I did see in the background the Blow Out Preventer (BOP) installed. from there they will install a "riser" to below the rig floor. There is further rigging up and attaching hoses.

The video confirmed they are bringing in the drill pipe "sideways". Meaning they have to "make up" the "stands" individually.

Three individual drill pipes make up a "Stand" that is "racked up" in the Derrick. Each drill pipe is measured and recorded before coming in side ways. From these measurements, depth is calculated. Each drill pipe measures 9meters something. Rough rule of thumb is a stand is 30 meters (it's not, it's under, but rough rule of thumb is still 30 meters).

Coming in sideways takes time. They should be able to do this with in two 12 hour shifts. Day shift and night shift will each get a turn.

Somewhere in there, the rig needs to perform a BOP test that requires one or two drill pipes. This test is recorded on a rotating chart that is penned. This also requires some time, and is "critical". Should done with in a "shift".

Some maintenance was mentioned. No information was provided as to the time required so that is an unknown.

Also mentioned, rigging up the Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA). Which can also take time. Im talking a matter of hours not days depending on the configuration.

The 200 horizon from memory was 850 meters (happy to be corrected).

850 meters divided by (approx) 30 meter "Stands" is 28 "Stands" plus the height of the rig floor. Say 29.

Hard to say how long it will take them to drill 28 Stands, however I have been on the rig floor and managed 1-2 stands every 6 minutes. (Times that by 10 and that gives a rough rule of thumb, how many per hour). Regardless and point being 28 "Stands" isn't a lot.
