"I guess that qualifies for people with no bank accounts. It would be amazing to have no possessions, other than one can carry in both hands" I didn't say they had no possessions or money. I said they don't have a bank a/c or credit card.
"No mate, I did not have time for that. (fossicking etc,) I had to work at my career full time." My experience early on taught me that the more I worked the less time I had to make money. ie it was like dollar cost averaging on the market. Going nowhere fast.... After that, with 7 months a year to think, life got a whole lot easier. I based my life around the various cycles, ie work, recessions, real estate, shares etc I have averaged only 5 months per year working over my lifetime so have crammed in as much of life's experiences as I could.
