That's a pretty uninformed opinion.

When was the last time you saw a Valium or Xanax advertisement in Australia? Never, because it's not allowed. The ban on advertising these products to consumers is also to prevent patients demanding a certain product when visiting their GP rather than the GP making an informed recommendation based on the patients medical history.

While I don't necessarily agree that medicinal cannabis products should be treated the same way as other medications the rules are the rules. It was highly ignorant of these companies to make such a rookie mistake. If you don't like the rules, lobby the TGA with research to back up why they need to be adjusted.
