The announcement is good but the improved grade is the only new information here. We already knew the thicknesses of zones 43,45,47,49 and 51 and that they had pierced the Mississippian and were at bottom of hole. So Mississippian is at least 121 meters thick. I wonder if another announcement containing the Mississippian zone grade has been scheduled for early next week, or whether they want to do more drilling to confirm the actual thickness of Mississippian.
Note that the drilling re-used holes previously created for oil and gas wells (they just had to bust out the concrete in the holes that had been abandoned and plugged). So no new drilling was conducted other than to bust concrete from some of the re-used holes previously abandoned by the original oil/gas well owners. Perhaps the delay on the Mississippian is because they are now putting in a diamond bit to pierce the bottom of the existing oil/gas holes.
BTW, they have that 'thicknesses and assays' table wrong for the thicknesses. According to the previous announcement (14th Sept). Zones 47 and 49 in this new table actually show the widths of 49 and 51 respectively, while zone 47 is actually 8.2 meters wide (which is the widest in this area other than the 29.6 thick zone 43). Zone 51 is missing from the table in this announcement. In the rush to get these improved grades out it looks like someone just chopped the bottom row row from the table because it was at the very bottom of the page and did not fit with 5 rows.
