Also no spark plugs, pistons, timing belt, engine block or any of the other parts you have to have in an ICE when you're trying to roll yourself forward with a series of controlled explosions.
That's why the Nissan Leaf weights only about 100 kg more than say a Ford Focus.
That's why EV's are incredibly cheap to service and part of why they have lower total cost of ownership.
Why aren't you complaining that ICE manufacturers make cars with lighter engine blocks?
