It's funny that seemingly non-sensitive news can have an impact on perceptions. I really hate that word "perceptions" because they use it alot at work and it gets on my nerves....
But perception is reality. It very much is a clear signal in a positve sense. Not just for reason I have just mentioned in an earlier post.
I am realistic/skeptical enough to believe that Directors and company management personnel are self-interested individuals. Not "selfish", but self-interested. This is why it is so important from the perception view point for management to own stock in the companies they work for. It's a clear signal that "if the company does well, I do well and I am not a fool".
I have the same view with my AJA holdings. I am very re-assured by the fact that the Senior Adviser (more or less CEO) hold 18 million shares or 3% of teh company units. I'm quite certain he would not want his holdings diluted at silly prices and I am quite certain he is a self-interested individual.
Fine by me!!
Pure speculation but 18 cents tomorrow. We shall see.
Cheers and good luck!
