lol its a democracy, even on hotcopper. People can ignore who ever they choose, but ignoring people has zero impact on share price movement.
So far, year to date I have been correct on GMG.
Market is evolving from QAAP (Quality at any price) to GARP (growth at reasonable price).
The issue is not only the peaking of yields (which we don't yet have an answer to, only time will tell on this), the more important issue is that the market believed interest rates would quickly reverse in 2023. Central banks are making it quite clear (clearer than on many historical central bank communications) that this will not be the case and that interest rates will stay higher for longer.
This issue has NOT been factored in, and hence why REIT prices are declining.
There will be a time to start buying or topping up (if one is an existing shareholder), but that time is not yet upon us.
Let this wash through. Investing is not just about return on capital, its about preservation of capital.
