Dividends in the form of a share BB have been announced. As for the comparison, not sure what rock you've been living under but globalisation made markets highly correlated since about the 80s, even more so these days. Therefore a comparison to the most important index should not be at all questionable and certainly not unusual. Btw, negative returns does not = underperforming when the market has delivered much larger negative returns.
