I have read a few articles that actually used the words "Currently being constructed at Kwinana"..
It's pretty hard to take that any other way than works are actually taking place onsite to 'construct' the plant.
Whether AVL had any part in the article/s, or even had a chance to correct the statement, I probably doubt they did so I don't hold Vince accountable for poor news reporting, but my conclusion on progress really came down to, if there was any news/progress, it would have been put out there by AVL. And given there hasn't been mention outside of the initial award to Primero, I guess they are still at that planning stage.. Or, at least a bit further along as a site was chosen and EPA documents submitted.
It takes some real due dilligence to figure any of this out though, and if you just go off the face of what is in print and the dates of these releases, you wouldn't be crazy to assume the plant is half built already.
I don't hold and I even feel like i'm bothering the MD's when I email companies I do hold, so I won't be emailing Vince to have it all clarified. Just would be nice if he could keep the market more updated on ANY progress, as the plant is pretty darn relevant to the the vanadium/battery space in Australia as a whole, not just AVL holders.
