I really hope that AMS recovers from this and thwart cultural and corporate incompetency. It is clear that AMS has no consideration for the shareholders and have been blatantly lying and manipulating market-sensitive information, systematically and routinely.

Those that work in the industry that use/used AMS equipment have now made aware of the AMS corporate shortcomings, and as a result AMS is starting to lose brand loyalty and thus the reoccurring sales revenue; the detailed and documented corporate behavior/culture abuses do not gel well with a very niche sector of micro/small video production companies.

Our industry is tiny and all the gear techs are in constant communication, this is a PR disaster for their loyal customer base. Personally, I feel somewhat betrayed as I've repped and word-of-mouth promoted AMS's products over the past 10 years or so, and have been an early adopter of most of their new releases (up to about 5 years ago).

The detail in the reports has certainly moved well past the "Poor performing CEO going for a cashgrab" theory, as even my own experience with some of the AMS gear has been validated (i.e. zillions of bugs, non functioning firmware, cutdown features, that made devices useless bricks/paperweights until updates/support was released weeks, months and YEARS after I first had some of the devices in my hands). I've learnt early in my Atomos journey not to bring any new Atomos products onto the production set without rigorous testing for weeks prior, and even when it was done to always have backups.

I truly hope that AMS has its 'paradigm shift' moment, combined with some groundbreaking tech and improved sector sentiment for all the LT SHs to get their money back. In my instance, until they fix their culture I will not rep or recommend their products for any on-set solutions and will not hesitate to advise rental houses regarding my stance on AMS products.
