Actually, Iv'e been looking at the old 'Black Swan' aerial seismic survey today and some of the old survey work from 2015/16, which covered the two permits and had been used for part of this planning (see also https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/NWE/01711902.pdf; https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20160121/pdf/434hkgb2tl1rf0.pdf). - Really should get a life I know.....
What I can see is that the old seismic interpretations from NWE were in line with WAPET in that the eastern side of the Lockyer Deep fault enclosure was considered shallower than is currently interpreted and Lead D was connected, but there wasn't enough data apparently to confirm it so the interpretation was made more conservative (Iain has a habit of this). The old maps considered there to be a bowl-shaped down dip in the middle and then a rise to the north, east and south from LD-1 and NED-1. Interestingly, although the isobars on the former link are in AHD, they show that the depth of the Kingia sandstone (our friend) from the approximate location of LD-1 to the 'bottom of the pot' is ~600m. If the old depth maps do hold up and the gas/water gradient is consistent with the current interpretation, then the entire four-way enclosure could be filled with gas, including Lead D connectivity! Could put the aerial extent out beyond 150km2!? I think a learned geologist could inform this better than me!?

I would love to see how the NED-1 and the southerly Mingenew 2D seismic lines come out, whether it confirms the old theory or not. More to the point, the 3D seismic and LD-2 drill will be pivotal in refining this, particularly if LD-2 drills for the Yalanooka sandstones that re below the highcliff sands.
Thoughts @OldGeo, @alexei ii, et al?
