I think we need to accept that COVID will run along side Flu as an annual ailment. Seems to be a "weariness" amonst people so maybe vaccinations, social distancing, masks will drop off and people will just accept that they will stand a chance of getting COVID.
Think the hospital treatments have become better - especially using anti-virals in conjunction with normal treatments for respiratory ailments will limit any damage for most people aflicted with COVID. Normal suspect groups - aged and those with serious pre-existing aliments will continue to be casualties.
Still not convinced that BIT hasa "better" anti-viral though - and BIT is not the only company chasing a solution in the anti-viral field.
