'Exiting' coal-fired generation does not definitively mean that the coal fired stations will shut by 2035. They may be sold off for all we know.
It's an exciting time for AGL (and the SP is creeping up again despite macro factors), so I believe the market agrees. Use the free cash flow to strategically invest in future tech and the rest will fall into place. Necessity drives innovation. The more time people spend whining, complaining and using scare tactics about 'big bad future tech', the longer this will all drag out. Embrace the change, Australia has the opportunity to lead here and even become a massive energy exporter in the future state.
Onwards and upwards for AGL with the new management as far as I can see.
