I'm not lost on the subjectivity of it all, it is just that like stated, we don't know how long we have so why spend the the later years watching numbers on a screen.. I see it as wasting the one thing money can not buy us, time.
Yet, I may find myself doing just that later in life... Just thoughts bouncing around my head.
I intend to retire at 60 and my co workers say, What are you going to do? My answer is be grateful for every day I no longer have to get up and go to work. I know I must do something to fill in my time. Travel is first and foremost on my bucket list. I will tire of that eventually and then the question of, Now What? will arise.
Making money won't be my motivator, I will have more than I need, even allowing for having to go in care if it comes to it.
