Yes, those two conflicting statements warrant an additional "please explain" from the company. There are simply too many questions here now that don't have answers. They need someone from outside the organisation to do a detailed investigation into what's being going in the company over the past 12 months, then release a report about it. Too many implausible scenarios being described by the company - such as the change in marketing/sales strategy that resulted in the sales revenue crashing from $28m to $4m between Q2 and Q3. An 85% drop ? - I don't believe it. Surely the sales would have some momentum from previous marketing efforts ? I could accept 20 or 30%, but not 85%. Utterly implausible.
