I'm sure many people feel the same as you and that is fine.

My outlook is a little different.

In terms of battery grade purity, LPI hasn't met battery grade purity (99.4%) with GEA, the engineering company they are looking to partner with, and the same company who helped compile the DFS.

The Company who later got them to 99.9% which was Veiola has not taken any part in LPIs DFS and its unknown for example how many reagents were used to achieve this.

This is why it's important for me to know where are the results from the battery grade samples they planned to send to GEA in 2021? Were they sent? If so why was there nothing in announcements regarding what happened?

On the ESG side of things. LPI has an above average Capex to peers. The capex they have used doesn't include anything they might implement to minimize their carbon footprint element.

SQM commited to a brine reduction plan with a planned investment of 200m.. Two years later the plan was the same but the cost was 1.5B. Obviously this is a much larger operation but hopefully you see what I'm getting at.

SQM has an electric fleet. Solar plants and charge stations and is a well seasoned operator. Energy is over 96% solar but even with this they are still only planning on being carbon neutral by 2040.

What will this cost LPI I wonder?

Others looking to finance LPI will be looking at the fact they are planning to be zero carbon but know that there is no plan, no costing done and the already higher than avg capex cost excludes any options to move away from fossil fuels.
