Firstly, the procedure for ousting the President of Ukraine requires a vote of 226 to refer the matter to be investigated for treason or other crime. Then, it requires 338 lawmakers (75% of 450 members) to vote in favour of the impeachment - in order to oust him.

Which never occurred.

Only 328 voted for it. Not the 338 (75%) required.

Furthermore Yanukovych was NOT investigated or Convicted of any crime.

They voted to remove him on the grounds that he abandoned his post (he was actually fleeing in fear for his life) - it was 328 votes in favour of his removal - which was NOT 338 votes required under the Constitution!!!

So UNCONSTITUTIONAL on all counts. Basically, they made the law up to justify their actions (to remove him). Ignoring the Constitution.

It was a COUP!!!
