A war is the best testing ground, as the heat of battle brings out shortcomings better than a static demonstration, and products that prove themselves there have a great selling point. Those that fail are at a disadvantage.
That is not to say that DRO will be unsucessful (I hold), but it is unlikely to ever be a big player if it cannot get big repeat orders from Ukraine.
