why is there a 2c gap ado/adoo, page-9

the way i understand it is they are treated separately as if 2 different company shares .
even if u payed to exercise them the time starts again from exercise date because the whole amount wasn't invested at the same time only partly payed there's that .012 per share that wasn't part of the buy at the time of the purchase of the options i happen to hold CNN options = CNNO and have for some time and there's still a 1 1/2 years to go on them but as it stands iv held over 12 months .
I'm almost %100 sure but could be wrong so best do own checking with an accountant .
another consideration re tax discount is whether your classified as an investor or trader again that should be determined at the earliest as there s no point holding for 12 months where one could have traded many times over and in some cases made more then what could have made from a tax discount .
maybe someone here more in the know could respond to this question better then what i have done
