Hi MK14EVA......... a rights issue/spp often causes a dilution and price charts are adjusted accordingly.
However , in the case of PAR, when the books closed (ex entitlement) the share price was trading around $1.30c. (spp plan).
So, for example say 500,000,000 (500 million) @ $1.30c. = $650,000,000 market cap.
say 50,000,000 (50 million) spp @ $1.30c. = $65,000,000 cash
$715,000,000
Because the company received CASH of $1.30c. per share for the new issue, there is technically NO dilution.
$715,000,000 /550,000,000 (total shares) =$1.30c.
