For CTP to grow in value they have to not only find stuff preferably valuable stuff but they also must be able to commercialize it. While the discovery side will push the price up, the bonds continue to push it down, so when CTP needs to get its next level of finance it is either going to be doing so with a depressed share price or will continue to extend this current agreement where some lucky organisation gets to buy their shares at a considerable discount based on the lowest monthly price.

While people mention they are in for the long term, just what does that mean. Would punters be happy if CTP's plans meant keeping the share price depressed for the next 5 years while they bring things to market. Given CTP has coal for several thousand years, the long term could be far longer than most anticipate.

In my opinion all share holders deserve the right to get fair value at the time of their sale, at the moment share holders who have to sell (thankfully I am not one) are loosing big time, while bond holders are making easy money.

I personally don't recall share movement like CTP's, i.e. a sound company, great future, no scandal, in a reasonably good market, etc announce multiple significant resource discoveries see their share price pushed down further each time.

In my opinion all companies, including CTP should always be reviewing and testing their business decisions, this includes financing and drilling options again and again to make sure they are still valid. Has CTP tried to modify the current arrangement to see if the bond holder to take their boot of CTP's thoat and not take up shares for the next 3-6 months or so that the share price has a chance to rise on hopefully good news, which would give CTP a greater chance of converting the options.

CTP does not have a lot of money left after phase 2, neither does ROG and BG is still reluctant to fully enter the fray. So CTP will have to be looking for more money soon for additional drilling and hopefully commercialization of some of these finds. If they don't get their price up before they have to go to market then all of our holdings are likely to be diluted a lot more as they have issue hundreds of millions of shares at these depressed prices.
