Not sure if u r creating a fence diagram. Too complex esp. with 1m thick seams & without the wireline log data.
In the meantime here's the sweet-spot for the coal in the attached map. The polygon in the middle is where we have coal with cumulative thickness of avg 130m. So one could work out the area of this Trapezoid (~1350-1380 sqkm) & then calc. the tonnage (refer my earlier posts for the variables).
Dont think there's any fault line running thro' this block so thickness should b around the 130-145m range. Should b interesting to see how much coal they encounter at 107001.
I'd be inclined to add a buffer of another 10kms to the west towards 93003 instead of the full 31 kms to that seismic line.
Thickness at CBM93003 was just 1.6m & at Simpson-1 they had 7m. Clearly, the coal thins out there at the edge of the shelf.
With all this rain in SW QLD, I hope they don't get the water in territory otherwise they could b swamped for days, not a good feeling. Someone pls chk the flood warnings on the BOM site.
