The announcement you have quoted clearly says "A$200m 50:50 Beyondie Development Joint Venture to achieve the commencement of mining operations with an initial targeted production"
It does not say "A$100m plus a loan for a further $100m".
Previously, I have examined the announcements very carefully regarding the $200 mill from CMIC. I have found absolutely no mention of a "loan" this was meant to be a direct investment by CMIC in order to get a 50:50 share of Beyondie.
They are now getting it for half price IMO.
I will happily stand corrected if this has ever been announced previously, but I believe CMIC has moved the goal posts.
